LOS ANGELES -- Board members of the International Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) will decided Thursday morning whether to accept agreements put forward by Network Solutions Inc. and the U.S. Department of Commerce that outline how to integrate NSI's former monopoly on domain name registration into a new naming system. Though 17 of the 18 registrars who reviewed the agreements came out against them during a day of impassioned public debate and comment, the board could still vote to accept the agreements. -- Jennifer Mack, ZDNet News
