IM+ Skype Software for BlackBerry updated

At the BlackBerry-sponsored Wireless Enterprise Symposium in Orlando, SHAPE Services has announced  a new version of its IM+ for Skype Software for BlackBerry.

We're now on v 2.21. Costs $25.00 after a free seven-day trial period. 

The software enables voice and text communication with other Skype users as well as calling to landline or mobile connections.

IM+ for Skype Software works by using SkypeOut credits.

For users of the $29.95 Skype Unlimited plan SHAPE positions IM+ as enabling "almost free calling from a BlackBerry smartphone to any PC with Skype or any landline/mobile number." All you need is a BlackBerry smartphone and IM+ for Skype Software installed.
