Industry, Big Apple trying to negotiate settlement in e-waste case

I've reported several times on the status of a case in New York City in which the Consumer Electronics Association and the Information Technology Industry Council have sued the city over its electronic waste collection and processing regulation. Oral arguments were supposed to start this month, but a judge has postponed them so that the parties can try to work out their differences outside the courtroom.
