Intel Corp., Wednesday, showed off a new processor architecture for handheld and network communications devices. The new architecture, called XScale Micro-Architecture, is based on its StrongARM technology, aquired from Digital Equipment Corp. Intel (intc) demonstrated it scaling from 200MHz to 1GHz.
