Intel says countersuit was forced by Digital
Intel is remaining tight-lipped over its decision to counter-sue Digital over microprocessor technology patents.
"It's a follow up," said a UK spokesman today. "We wouldn't have done this if they hadn't hit us in the way they did. We're suing them because we want to protect our technology and our stock value."
