Intel's Barrett raps crypto controls
Intel President and CEO Craig Barrett called on the Clinton administration to drop its controls on encryption during testimony before Congress' Joint Economic Committee Monday.
Barrett also joined several other high-tech executives testifying in favor of a permanent extension of the federal research and development tax credit.
