In December 2004, use of Internet Explorer fell by 1.5% points to 90.3%. Firefox browser rose 0.9% to reach 5%, according to WebSideStory. The numbers reflect shifts that occurred between December 3, 2004 and January 14, 2005. WebSideStory samples more than 30 mln daily Internet users from more than 200 countries to determine the browser-usage shares.
