Some people just can't wait for Apple to release the iPhone. In fact, some people are so eager that they've created skins for Windows Mobile and Palm OS that look like the iPhone UI that Steve announced at Macworld Expo.

Paul O'Brien, founder of MoDaCo, posted a iPhone skin for Windows Mobile-based phones and prominently received a cease and desist letter from Apple, which is now posted on his site.

Ironically, Mo's iPhony launcher which allows you to skin your Palm Treo with Apple's juicy new iPhone icons is still available and hasn't (yet) been the victim of Steve's wrath. If you've got a Treo, you may want to grab it while you still can.
