Join me in an Office Community chat about Outlook 2007

Back in August, Microsoft published an article I wrote for the Office Online preview site about managing your inbox in Outlook 2007. I'll be participating in a chat on Tuesday, October 16 at 2:00 p.m. ET / 11 a.m. PT to discuss some of the new features in Outlook 2007.

The focus of the chat session, like the article, will be how to take advantage of the new features in Outlook to process incoming e-mail and move it onto your task list or calendar to make it actionable at the right time and in the right context.

The features I covered in the article and hope to focus on in the chat tomorrow include:

  • Using Follow Up Flags to generate task items quickly
  • Working with the To-Do Bar in Office Outlook 2007 to keep your appointments and tasks front-and-center in every view
  • Using Office Outlook 2007 Instant Search to find any e-mail message, contact, appointment, task, or note
  • Taking advantage of new integration with Microsoft Office OneNote® 2007 to create and manage tasks and capture notes related to meetings and projects

I hope you can drop in and join the discussion if you're curious about the next version of Outlook.
