LG unveils 'Skinny Frame' HD plasma HDTVs in Korea

LG has debuted a new line of thin HD, big-screen displays in Korea called "Skinny Frame."

The "Skinny" name derives from the fact that there's a 25mm-thin (just under an inch) border around the screen.

Available in 50- and 60-inch formats, the LG screens feature 600Hz refresh rates, HDMI and USB ports, and auto-contrast adjustment based on room lighting.

Everyone outside of Korea will have to wait though, as these are only on sale over there right now for ?1,700,000 and ?3,800,000, respectively (that's $1,489 and $3,328).
