Linuxcare strikes agreement with Sun

Linuxcare Inc. said it's struck an agreement with Sun Microsystems Inc. to provide technical support for StarOffice.

On Tuesday, Sun unveiled plans to buy Star Division Corp., maker of StarOffice, an office productivity application suite that runs on Linux. Linuxcare has support deals with several large companies interested in jumping on the Linux bandwagon, including IBM Corp.
