MediaQ received $10.7 million toward its third round of venture funding, bringing the total round to $34.1 million. National Semiconductor contributed the largest portion of the latest funding, which included investments from Weston Presidio Capital, El Dorado Ventures, Infineon Technologies, Summit Accelerator Fund and ViVentures. Santa Clara, Calif.-based MediaQ has raised a total of $40 million. The company develops integrated chips and software for handheld devices. --Dawn Kawamoto, Special to ZDNet News
