UK registered network management specialist Micromuse has reported a 151 per cent rise in profits for its fourth fiscal quarter of the year.

The company said its revenues were also up 114 per cent from the same quarter last year.
Greg Brown, CEO of Micromuse, attributed the bulk of the company's good fortunes to its flagship product, NetCool. Brown said: "We see our solutions being adopted by incumbent telecommunications service providers, a range of managed service providers, cable, DSL and most recently wireless data".
