Mobile content will turn into a $9 bln industry by July 2006, according to LogicaCMG. 20% of mobile phone owners worldwide have already experienced downloading content to their handsets, the percentage is expected to rise to 60% in the next 12 months.

Mobile content will turn into a $9 bln industry by July 2006, according to LogicaCMG. 20% of mobile phone owners worldwide have already experienced downloading content to their handsets, the percentage is expected to rise to 60% in the next 12 months. The current mobile content ARPU is currently $7.5, with more than 40% of respondents expressing an expectation for it to rise in 2006.
