James Kendrick, Kevin C. Tofel and I are honored that listeners have voted us into the finals for the 2006 Podcast Awards and kindly ask that you continue to vote every day until August 11th.

MobileTechRoundup show #60 finally covers the Zune announcement we planned on discussing a few shows back. We then chatted a bit about the T-Mobile MDA update and using A2DP on mobile devices. Do you use A2DP and Bluetooth stereo headphones with your devices? The question of whether consumers are ready for a phone that switches between WiFi and cellular networks was talked about with our conclusion that the world is not yet ready to embrace this technology. A couple of listener voicemails were played and answered on the show, including a cool OneNote recording from Warner Crocker. We went over time getting to the freeware of the show, but if mobile mapping is important to you then you won't want to miss what was sent to us for Windows Mobile devices.

Please let me know if you have anything you would like us to cover and discuss on the show and I'll try to work it into a future podcast.
