Motorola spinoff launches portable karaoke player

First International Digital, a Motorola Inc. (mot) spinoff, and Songdog Network have announced the release of MP3i, or MP3 interactive, a new music format that incorporates graphical data and digital music files. Lyrics will be the first data included with MP3i files. They'll be playable on the new irock! 680 device from First International Digital, which will begin shipping early next week.
