Murdoch brings interactive TV chat to the masses

Sky Digital has launched an interactive TV service that allows viewers to take part in live chat forums through their televisions. Viewers watching live news programmes will be able to submit questions and opinions in real time through their remote controls. The chat rooms will be launched today with a debate on the budget. Up to five million Sky News Active subscribers will have immediate access to the service. Sky plans to roll it out to other Sky Active users and Sky Digital subscribers later this year.
