Dan Farber is my editor at ZDNet. He's a frequent Gillmor Gang flyer, a mentor, and a budding WeeGee of tech photojournalism. From time to time, he prods me for content on this site. Most recently, he asked me for a pointer to the current Gillmor Gang episode--the one in which George Gilder and Tony Perkins mull George's appearance at Tony's AlwaysOn conference together with Dan, Dana, Doc, and Mike of the Gang. Udell was off doing important Udellian work. There you go Dan.

Speaking of editors, Kevin McKean of InfoWorld has apparently left his position. I have mixed feelings about this (Kevin fired me soon after he joined InfoWorld 2.5 years ago) but not about Kevin. He's a dedicated journalist who brought excellence to a diificult role in the struggling print trade press. Whether I agree with his decisions about the publication's direction (I don't), that doesn't in any way diminish my respect for the way he executes on his vision. Whoever he works with on his next project will be lucky to have him.
