Technological overhaul of court system to bring it into 21st century

Virtual courts that allow litigants to sue over the Internet and judges to deal with small claims by email look set to replace the Victorian court system in Britain.

The government has set aside a £43m grant to revamp some of the UK's 222 county courts.
