Surfing in the workplace costs business big money

UK companies are losing up to £2.5m each year through staff surfing the Internet for topics unrelated to work, according to a report published Thursday.

The findings could encourage employers to keep a closer eye on the Internet activities of staff and develop policies for acceptable Internet use at work.
