After months of waiting, the highly anticipated Nokia E72 has been released, and it comes packed with new features.

So, what's new? Well, if you're an E71 user then visually not much has changed. The keypad has been rearranged (and looking at it, I'd say the rearrangement is logical and should make it easier to use), while on the back you'll notice a 5 megapixel camera as opposed to 3.2 megapixel cam on the E71 (all the better to TwitPic with!). Also new is the inclusion of a standard 3.5mm audio jack as opposed to the 2.5mm oddity that was present on the E71.

Internally, there's been quite a revamp too. The 360MHz CPU seen in the E71 has been replaced with the a much-needed faster 600MHz part which will help speed up the OS. Built-in storage has been jacked up to 250MB. There's also support for HSDPA 10.2Mbps and HSUPA 2Mbps.

The built-in software has also been revamped, from the email client to the messenger app. Seems like a good all-round refresh of a firm favorite of mine.
