PC card for jetting about...

That former stalwart of the modem scene Hayes, has released a four-in-one combination PC card giving you almost all the communications options you could want.

The OPTIMA V.90 card gives you analogue data at up to 56Kbps, fax at 14.4Kbps, 2 x 64Kbps ISDN, GSM data at 9600bps and 10BaseT Ethernet LAN connectivity. Phew! The card is compatible with standard GSM handsets from the likes of Nokia and Panasonic. If you're jetting all over the world you'll be glad to know that it comes with configuration software that automatically configures to the phone network of almost any country anywhere. The flash memory feature allows for easy upgrades, and power management functions mean it will even turn itself off when not being used. What a helpful little card it is.

Available now for £209.
