Good news for RSI sufferers

Spending hours in front of a keyboard can be really bad news for your wrists. Prolonged keyboard and mouse use leads to repetitive stress injuries (RSI) such as carpal tunnel syndrome - I should know, I'm suffering from it at the moment (all sympathetic letters/cash etc gratefully received...). Enter the Wristgliders from POW! Distribution which seem like a pretty good way of avoiding straining the old joints.

A cushioned circular vinyl platform sits under your wrists and rolls across the desk while you tap away on the keyboard or mouse. They're small so they'll be handy if you do a lot of travelling and don't want to lug a full sized wrist rest around. A pack of two for keyboard use is £12.99, pack of one for mouse use is £6.49 and a three pack is £17.99.

No bounds for USB modem

USB modems are just starting to trickle on to the market from companies like 3Com/US Robotics and Aztech Labs. The latest UK launch however comes from US company Multi-Tech Systems in the shape of the MultiModem ZBA-USB. There's online diagnostics to check connection speed and according to the blurb it supports all fax standards as well as flash memory for downloading free on-line software upgrades. The MultiModem supports V.90 and K56flex standards - don't they all these days?

If you're desire for USB peripherals knows no bounds you can get hold of a MultiModem now for £99.
