Oprah Winfrey to do live interview at Facebook next week

Oprah Winfrey will be the latest celebrity to pay a visit to Facebook's headquarters in Palo Alto, California. Next week, she will participate in the company's live-streamed video interviews over on Facebook Live.

The Facebook Event, titled Facebook Live with Oprah Winfrey, is scheduled for 1:30 PM PDT / 4:30 PM EST on September 8, 2011. If you have questions for Winfrey, you can post on the event's Wall in hopes that she will answer one of them during the interview.

Winfrey is unsurprisingly very popular on Facebook. She has 6.3 million Facebook Likes on her official Facebook Page.

In addition to the interview, Winfrey will meet with a group of local tech-industry representatives to discuss social media and the Oprah Winfrey Network. She will also appear at one of Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg's exclusive dinner events for Silicon Valley women.

The last person to visit Facebook's headquarters was US President Barack Obama. His administration worked with Facebook to launch an anti-bullying campaign.
