Oracle adds board member

Oracle has named Naomi Seligman, a partner at IT consultancy Ostriker von Simson, to its board of directors.

Oracle on Friday named Naomi Seligman, a partner at IT consultancy Ostriker von Simson, to its board of directors.

Seligman is the 12th board member at the business software maker. She also serves on the boards of Sun Microsystems, Dun and Bradstreet, and Akamai Technologies.

"Naomi brings a wealth of experience and strategic insight to the constantly changing world of applied information technology," Oracle CEO Larry Ellison, said in a statement. "CEOs and CIOs throughout government and industry have long sought out and relied on her advice and counsel."
