Palm Treo Pro available from Sprint

Despite the slightly cramped keyboard I love my Palm Treo Pro and keep going back to it because it has a near perfect form factor and rock solid performance. I love the touches Palm put into it with the ringer switch, WiFi button, solid design, and long battery life. I bought it as a SIM unlocked device and according to news on WMExperts you can buy it now could buy it from Sprint this morning, but the device page was pulled. It will be a subsidized device available for US$249 after contract and mail-in rebate. The unlocked GSM model is priced at US$549.

The Sprint Treo Pro may have 96MB RAM and 512MB ROM compared to the unlocked model that has 256MB ROM. The rest of the specs appear to be the same as the GSM variant, except of course for the wireless radio.

Sprint seems to be the Palm Treo carrier of choice with the first to launch the Centro, then the Treo 800w and now the Treo Pro so you have a nice selection of devices if you are a Sprint customer.
