IBM Corp. says its servers are giving the Web a new voice. The company announced on Monday that messaging service provider Paltalk.com selected IBM RS/6000 M80 Unix Servers to expand its Paltalk Internet-based voice conferencing service. Paltalk will purchase two of the M80 servers in an effort to expand the service from allowing up to 50 users to up to 1,000 voice conference users simultaneously, according to IBM officials. -- John G.
