Waddon's defence asked for an adjournment to sentencing while the financial impact of the porn business he ran was assessed. Waddon's bail has been extended.

The case has been heralded as an "incredible precedent" by police in the fight against Net porn. Waddon, a 28-year-old businessman ran a multi-million pound porn operation -- the largest in the UK to date -- from his home in Surrey. Defence claims he was free from prosecution because the porn sites were hosted in the US were thrown out in a landmark ruling. Judge Christopher Hardy ruled the uploading took place in the UK and was therefore subject to British law.
