Quickoffice to demo Office apps for iPhone and Google Android at MWC 2009

Summary:I mentioned here last week that DataViz should be showing off and/or announcing their Office suite products for the Apple iPhone and Google Android next week at Mobile World Congress. I just received word that Quickoffice will be giving demonstrations of its products on the Apple iPhone and Google Android platforms next week as well. Quickoffice is loaded on S60 devices to provide document attachment support and they have a Quickoffice Premier product for editing and creation of documents on the S60 platform.

Quickoffice actually has an iPhone product available now, MobileFiles Pro that lets you access, view, and manage files on your iPhone. You can also edit native Excel 2003 files on your iPhone and I have to admit I was clueless about this application and functionality. MobileFiles Pro is available for US$9.99.

I am pleased to see there will be some great competition on the iPhone and Google Android for Office software and I think these two developers offer the best products in this area.
