Rip out my eyes: The Family Guy adverts

The Family Guy adverts commissioned by Microsoft are just... plain awful. A Monday morning rant for the masses.
Written by Zack Whittaker, Contributor

I know there's been a lot of talk about the Family Guy adverts which were commissioned by Microsoft to promote their latest operating system, but my God they are just awful.

Take exhibit one:

It's clear Seth MacFarlane and the rest of the team couln't really be bothered and just felt like, "oh screw it, let's just get this over and done with", in regards to the badly dubbed over voices with the recycled clips from the show.

But what annoys me most is that the creators of Family Guy which write confidently about incest, superhero rape, race related terrorism, child molestation, and poking fun at disabilities, along with every other taboo possible, were then rejected by Microsoft after the videos were completed for not being suitable.

What did you expect?!If you wanted something watered down, really not funny and politically correct for the masses of idiots who watch these adverts and are genuinely attracted to the product, you should have gone to Matt Groening's The Simpson's team instead.

After watching these adverts through gritted teeth and cringed eyes, I wanted to throw a jerry can of petrol over head and set fire to myself. Suffice to say, these adverts should have never been commissioned or at least, if so, marked with some certification as to deter as many people away as possible.

Should you wish to torment yourself further, you can see the rest of them here.
