Romanian government site comically cracked

Humorous hackers tax the stupid and revalue Romanian currency
Written by Will Knight, Contributor

Computer crackers defaced the Romanian government's official Web site Monday posting details of a revolutionary new tax on stupidity.

According to the government's site, an individual's stupidity is directly proportional to his social importance, making members of state some of the most stupid in the land.

These cheeky so-and-sos even informed Romanian citizens that the money raised from the new tax would be used to bribe NATO into accepting Romania's application for membership.

The official exchange rate of the national currency was also changed on the site from 16,870 lei to one US dollar, to just 0.5 lei per dollar, making the lei possibly the most valuable currency in the world...ever.
