Russian mobile phone sales up 55.5% in 2004, 62.7% in 2005 and 55.9% in 2006

IDC reports that mobile device shipments jumped by 55.5% in Russia in 2004 to more than 350,000 units. Revenue grew by 56% to $164 mln. Russia still far from saturation, with shipments of mobile devices expected to expand by 62.7% in 2005 and by 55.9% in 2006.
