Siebel Systems released version 6 of its subscription software on Tuesday, adding features for banking, medical, computer and car companies. The program, called Siebel OnDemand, gives businesses access to a Siebel customer information system for $70 a month, or $100 for the new specialized versions. Siebel introduced the subscription service about a year ago with IBM, which houses and maintains the computers that run the software.

The new release also includes a "sales process coach," a program designed to guide sales people through landing new customers. The software also offers new tools for exporting data to Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and Word documents and comes in more languages, including Chinese, Japanese and Korean.
