Sony: Netbooks are 'in-between' products

While netbooks look like being a major seller this Christmas, Sony is one company that has stayed away from the format, preferring to offer its Vaio laptops, which are seen by many as expensive.

While others might panic over sales, the head of the Vaio business unit in the UK, Nicolas Barendson, sees no cause for alarm. In this interview, he explains how Sony sees the netbook evolving into a different format, and the state of the laptop market for businesses and consumers.
