Spot connection glitch nags AOL Wednesday night

AOL (aol) users reported scattershot luck connecting to the online service Wednesday night. A spokeswoman confirmed the existence of a problem lasting approximately three hours which prevented some users from accessing AOL. "We had a problem where some members couldn't access the service," said the spokeswoman, Trish Primrose. "The problem was sporadic. So for example, I would dial up and then not get on and then try again and get on." Primrose said it was not a service-wide outage.
