Symantec posts virus encyclopaedia
Symantec has detailed over 10,000 viruses in a new Web-based encyclopaedia.
The computer virus encyclopaedia can be accessed for free at Symantec's Web site. Users of Symantec's Norton AntiVirus 4.0 can get there even quicker by clicking on the Encyclopaedia option that is added to their Windows 95 Start menu.
The monthly-updated resource includes virus descriptions, virus types and hoaxes.
