Tales of the Splogosphere: Barbaro the injured thoroughbred and Skype Trojan, uh, Horse

OK for those who don't know- spologosphere is a term of derision for all of those so-called "blogs" that are really doing nothing more than machine aggregation of real blogs. The goal: income from Google AdWords or similar programs tied into search results attributable to keywords or keyphrases this aggregation process scoops up from original blogs.

Now to Barbaro- winner of the Kentucky Derby, gets tragically injured, has been undergoing painful rehab for some seven months now. He's a wonder.

OK, so what commonality could there possibly be between Barbaro the race horse and Skype?

Well, Skype users in Asia-Pacific were hit with a Trojan Horse this week.

So there's this website called Quedat that found my allusion to a "Trojan Horse." Crawler assumed this was another horse story to be extracted for its keyword ad potential.

Hey it's the Holiday Season. If this site has any actual visitors, and if any of those visitors cared to click on the Skype Trojan Horse link, and if the site owners's get 73 cents next February from these ads than who am I to deny others the fruits of avarice?
