At the Apple press conference on Friday, CEO Steve Jobs revealed that despite the ongoing controversy over the iPhone 4's antenna issue, 30 July would be the official launch date for the iPhone 4 in Australia.

Although there is now less than two weeks until launch, both Optus and Vodafone Hutchison Australia (VHA) said they had no pricing information available yet. Telstra told ZDNet Australia that information pertaining to the pricing plans for the iPhone 4 was expected to be released in the coming days.

Telstra has previously denied that pricing plans leaked on the 9to5Mac blog were legitimate.

Telstra and VHA were both quick to announce they would offer the iPhone 4 soon after Apple revealed the new iPhone back in June. Optus followed suit almost two weeks after, announcing it too would offer the iPhone 4.
