The best internships in America

Summary:Career site Glassdoor ranks the 20 best internships in America.

As the job market struggles to right itself, internships remain one of the best ways for young workers to get a foot in the door in many industries. Career site Glassdoor has ranked the 20 best internships in America, based on intern ratings.

To qualify for the rankings, companies had to be currently hiring interns and had to have received at least 20 reviews from interns.

Google is considered the best internship program in the country - it was recently represented in the Owen Wilson - Vince Vaughn movie "The Internship" (and, according to a former Google intern, the film is remarkably accurate about the experience).

But Microsoft interns actually earn the most - an average of $5,869 a month, while JP Morgan's internship program improved the most, jumping nine spots since last February.
