Texas Instruments and Microsoft released details Wednesday of a collaboration to deliver broadband capability to mobile devices.
The solution combines Microsofts smartphone platform - codenamed Stringer - and TIs mobile phone-based chipset technology.
The companies claim the venture will mean increased performance and battery life for future mobile devices.
