To Google or not to Google

What could be more anachronistic than reading Shakespeare on Google? Now one can memorize all of his sonnnets while peering into the holy monitor as Google has launched a new site devoted only to the Bard, reports Reuters.

Just type in a phrase to be (or not to be) taken to that part of the play. Browse the full texts of his 37 plays, connect with scholarly research and internet groups, download the latest news, watch theater performances of his plays (for instance, a Stanford Shakespeare Society performance of "Twelfth Night" that opens with a female torch singer's rendition of "Fever") and go on a virtual tour of the Globe Theater courtesy of Google Earth.

The Shakespeare site provides links to available editions of each play, many of which users can then preview or buy, Google said.
