Today's Atlanta Journal-Constitution (reg. rq'd.) has an interesting article entitled "Internet phone service speeds to the forefront."

According to the newspaper, the children's hospital is "testing wireless VoIP phones in its intensive care units, allowing doctors to reach nurses directly."

When technology can be used to improve the health of an innocent child, technology is transformative on a more profound level than just the technology itself.
