To round out Toshiba's big day, there are a couple sets of notebooks targeted towards those on a budget - primarily students. Already gearing up for back-to-school sales (didn't summer just start?), there are the low priced C600 and L600 laptop collections.

The Satellite C600 series (pictured above) ships with either a 14-inch or 15.6-inch diagonal display. Powered by your choice between Intel or AMD processors, both options include TruBrite HD widescreen displays with 720p resolution, 250GB/320GB hard drives, Wi-Fi, DVD SuperMulti drives and multi-touch touchpads.

The Satellite L600 series (pictured right) costs more but includes far more. Ranging from a glorified netbook to a desktop replacement, there are four models to choose from here: 13-inch L635, the 14-inch L645, the 15.6-inch L655 and the 17.3-inch L675.

Processors are also open for configuration here. Choices consist of Intel Core i3/i5 with TurboBoost, AMD Athlon II dual-core, AMD Turion II dual-core or AMD Phenom II triple-core/quad-core processors. The same TruBrite HD screen is implemented on the L600 series, along with Wi-Fi, a webcam, up to 4GB of RAM, and a hard drive range of 250GB to 500GB.

For a touch of style, you can get any one of these four notebooks with a glossy finish in black, grey, white or brown.

All of the Toshiba Satellite laptops mentioned here will be available for purchase on June 20. The C600 series starts at $449.99. The Satellite L635, L645, L655 and L675 start at $619.99, $515.99, $569.99, and $599.99, respectively.
