Tube Wi-Fi reaches 41 London Underground stations
Virgin Media has expanded the reach of its London Underground Wi-Fi network to 41 stations
Virgin Media's Tube Wi-Fi network is now up and running in 41 London Underground stations, following the launch of the scheme last month.
More than 40 stations now provide the the Wi-Fi service to passengers, the company said on Wednesday, and it has been used to deliver more than one million Twitter and Facebook updates, emails, and web pages in the week since it went live.

The service will be free for users for the duration of the 2012 Games, and will remain free for Virgin Media customers after the end of the summer. The company has not revealed what it will cost non-Virgin Media customers on a pay as you go basis after the Games.
In total the company aims to have more than 120 stations connected to the service by the end of 2012.
When tested by ZDNet recently, the Wi-Fi service offered speeds of between 17Mbps and 34Mbps.
