US Report: Gateway to offer Netscape
Gateway said yesterday it will offer users the choice of a browser from Microsoft or Netscape when they sign up for its Gateway.net Internet service.
The U.S. Department of Justice has filed suit against Microsoft alleging that, among other issues, it prevents PC manufacturers from offering Netscape as an alternative to its browser software.
