Readers know how I feel about my T-Mobile HTC Touch Pro2 and as I stated before it will be coming to all four main US wireless carriers. Today we get the official press release that the Verizon version is coming tomorrow for just $199.99 after $100 mail-in rebate. This price leaves you wondering about the $350 that T-Mobile and Sprint are charging, but I find the device to be a solid performer and think the $350 I paid is still a good value for such a powerful device.
Carriers are adding some of their services to the device, but they are all still pretty standard across all carriers for the most part. The Verizon Wireless HTC Touch Pro2 (the name has stuck in all cases so far) has a keyboard similar to the Sprint version with the lack of a Ctrl key the one downside compared to my T-Mobile Touch Pro2. Like the Sprint version though, the Verizon one gets a 3.5mm headset jack. I also see that the Verizon model is a world phone with quad-band GSM and dual band HSPA support.
