Vic Education has new Hyro identity

IT services and marketing group Hyro has won a deal to provide Victoria's Department of Education and Early Childhood Development with a state-wide identity and access management solution.

in brief IT services and marketing group Hyro has won a deal to provide Victoria's Department of Education and Early Childhood Development with a state-wide identity and access management solution.

The solution will be used by over 50,000 teachers, 500,000 students and 1 million parents, according to a statement issued by Hro yesterday, and be based on Hyro's "Idaptive Digital Identity & Access Management" suite.

The platform will run on Microsoft's server and database platforms. Hyro has not responded to enquiries about the value of the contract.
