VoxOx Update

In the 10 days since I first wrote about the new VoxOx program, I have continued trying to use it. The news, thus far, is not good.

In the 10 days since I first wrote about the new VoxOx program, I have continued trying to use it. The news, thus far, is not good. I did finally get past the "boo boo" and get registered. However, after getting that done, the next time I tried the VoxOx program I could not get it to connect and log in. Try as I might, over several days, I never got it to log in a single time. Then, just a couple of days ago, I finally got logged in - and then it wouldn't respond properly to any commands. User and contact searches either never returned, or returned no matches for names that I knew existed; attempts to make audio or video calls just went away, never connected and never came back.

I have heard from a couple of other people who tried VoxOx after reading about it in my blog. One said that he got registered, but had problems with audio when he tried to make calls, and the other said that he had basically the same "boo boo" problems when trying to register that I reported.

Not a very auspicious start, to be sure. I will continue to look at it from time to time.
