Vuzix, which makes smart glasses for the enterprise, said it has forged a pact with Lenovo to sell its M100 specs in China.

Under the deal, Vuzix's M100 smart glasses will be co-branded with Lenovo and pushed across China. Vuzix has a bevy of manufacturing and distribution use cases that could appeal to China's industrial base and penchant for greater efficiencies.

Vuzix has a bevy of partners such as SAP to tie its smart glasses to back-end systems.

According to a statement, Vuzix will be the exclusive provider of smart glasses to Lenovo for enterprise markets in China. Lenovo may also distribute Vuzix in other emerging markets.

Lenovo and Vuzix have partnered to offer Chinese language systems and localized voice recognition and mapping.

Shipments are expected to start in early September and be widely available in China in the fall.
