Want to get your blog published on the Amazon Kindle?

There have been blog subscription offerings on the Amazon Kindle since its launch a couple years ago, but the offerings were quite limited. I just received the following email for the new self-publishing tool, Kindle Publishing for Blogs Beta, that allows bloggers to get their blog onto the Kindle Store. I submitted my ZDNet blogs a long time ago and my submissions seemed to disappear into a black hole. Hopefully this program works better for bloggers looking to get onto the Kindle.

Greetings from Amazon.com,

As someone who has reached out to us in the past as interested in publishing a blog for the Kindle platform, we wanted you to be among the first to know about our new self-publishing tool: Kindle Publishing for Blogs Beta.

Kindle Publishing for Blogs lets anyone make their blog or news feed available in the Kindle Store quickly and easily. This provides a way to increase your blog audience and generate additional revenue from content you already publish.

To get started, visit kindlepublishing.amazon.com and click the link "Create a New Account". A few easy steps later and your blog will be on its way to the Kindle Store. If you have questions or feedback please let us know via e-mail at kindle-publishing-blogs@amazon.com.

Thanks, The Amazon Kindle Team

I am personally still not sold on the idea of paying a small fee for blogs to be delivered to my Kindle, primarily because I use my Kindle for ebook reading and my smartphones for reading blog content. I do think bloggers deserve some kind of compensation for all the work they put into their creations and content and it would be great to earn a few bucks from Kindle blog subscribers. Feel free to search for my blogs on their in the future.
